RBLP Resilience-Building Leadership Professional™ (RBLP™) is for Front-Line Supervisors

Building resilient teams that can work together to overcome adversity in a challenging environment is a core competency for leaders at all levels.

RBLP Application Requirements
RBLP applicants must be currently serving in a front-line supervisor role or have three years of work experience.

Front-line supervisor role defined: Front-line supervisors provide guidance and direction to workers. They set priorities for workers and oversee their activities. Front-line supervisors organize people to work in teams and may work alongside subordinates as a member of the team. They monitor performance and enforce policies, rules, and regulations. Front-line supervisors have applicable technical expertise and can provide on-the-job training to workers.

Military Paygrade Equivalent: U.S. military personnel (or AU, NZ, UK, and CA equivalents) currently serving at paygrades E4 and E5 are eligible for RBLP certification. Military veterans that have previously served at these paygrades are also eligible.

Training is also available via workshops

RBLP Certification Exam Requirements: 
During the 1.5-hour oral RBLP certification exam, the applicant is required to show competence of factual (what), conceptual (why), and procedural knowledge (how) in each of the following competency domains: Create Positive Climate Develop Cohesion Provide Purpose.

RBLP Recertification Requirements Recertification is required every three years to maintain the RBLP level of certification. Credential holders are required to complete a recertification application detailing how they have implemented applicable leader tasks in the workplace during the previous three years. The RBLP recertification fee is currently $55.


RBLP-C
Resilience-Building Leadership Professional™ Coach (RBLP™-C) is for Middle Managers

Adapting to change means that teams must learn new policies, processes, and procedures. Facilitating team learning is essential for problem-solving.

RBLP-C Application Requirements RBLP-C applicants must be serving in a middle manager role or have previously served in a middle manager role.

Middle manager role defined:
Middle managers are responsible for objectives and results in a functional department. They may provide guidance and direction to one or more front-line supervisors. Middle managers facilitate team learning and problem-solving. They establish goals for their teams and monitor progress. Middle managers have significant relevant expertise and experience. An organization may have multiple layers of middle management.

Military Paygrade Equivalent: U.S. military personnel (or AU, NZ, UK, and CA equivalents) currently serving at paygrades O1, O2, W1, and E6 are eligible for RBLP-C certification. Military veterans that have previously served at these paygrades are also eligible.

Training is also available via workshops

RBLP-C Certification Exam Requirements: During the 2.5-hour oral RBLP-C certification exam, the applicant is required to show competence of factual (what), conceptual (why), and procedural knowledge (how) in each of the following competency domains: Create Positive Climate Develop Cohesion Provide Purpose Facilitate Team Learning.

RBLP-C Recertification Requirements: Recertification is required every three years to maintain the RBLP-C level of certification. RBLP-T
Resilience-Building Leadership Professional™ Trainer (RBLP™-T) is for Senior Leaders

Organizations stay competitive by growing their capabilities. Supporting organizational learning makes change possible and enables competitive advantage.

RBLP-T Application Requirements: RBLP-T applicants must be currently serving in a senior leader role or have previously served in a senior role.

Senior leader role defined: Senior leaders are responsible for cross-functional objectives and results. They may provide guidance and direction to one or more middle managers. Senior leaders support organizational learning and change. They develop and implement strategies to achieve the organization’s vision. Senior leaders have substantial relevant expertise and experience. An organization may have multiple layers of senior leadership.

Military Paygrade Equivalent: U.S. military personnel (or AU, NZ, UK, and CA equivalents) currently serving at paygrades O3 and above; W2-W5; and E7-E9 are eligible for RBLP-T certification. Military veterans that have previously served at these paygrades are also eligible. Training is also available via workshops
